IFL: We start the Intermediate Football League with an away game against Magheracloone this Sunday at 2pm. Good luck to Glen and the team and management.

Juvenile coaching: We were delighted to welcome our youngest juveniles for the return of our Saturday-morning football coaching last week. Thanks to everyone involved. Training continues every Saturday at 10am in Gavan Duffy. To register a new or existing player, please log on to the Foireann app or www.foireann.ie.

Reserves: A much-changed team lost out away to Inniskeen in the RFL Division 1A last Saturday. A couple of long-range points from Senan Cudden were the highlights of a frustrating first half where we led by just 0-3 to 0-2 after playing with the wind. After a slow start to the second half, we closed the gap to a single point again, with Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Terence McDonald on target, but a quick brace of goals saw Inniskeen pull away. We start the RFL Division 3B with an away game against Scotstown this Saturday at 7pm.

Team and scorers: Evan Doherty; Gregory O'Connell, Liam Conway, Adam McGarry; Oisín Fagan (Capt.), John Mulligan, Max Mallen; Senan Cudden (0-2), Shea Swift; Liam Hahessy, Dónal Hahessy, Terence McDonald (0-1f); Luke Coyle, Fionán Ó Gallchóir (0-3f), Colm Shalvey.

Subs used: Kevin Moran; Cian Bradley; Shay Cooney.

Minors: Our minors had a good win away to Carrickmacross on Tuesday evening on a scoreline of 2-17 to 3-5. Round three is away to Truagh next Tuesday, while our Division Four team start their league by hosting Scotstown on Monday.

U-16: Our U-16s began their league campaign with an away win in Killanny last Thursday, where a strong first-half performance set the tone in difficult conditions. We are due to host Clontibret this evening.

Team and scorers: Alex Flynn; Odhrán Kelly, Ruairí Smyth, Jake Cassidy; Charlie O'Brien (1-0), Andrew McKenna, Seán Lambe; Conor Farmer (1-0), Kyle Lavery (0-2); Joseph O'Neill, Josh Cassidy (2-2), Deagan Doherty (1-0); Joe Gunn (Capt.); Rhys Coyle (0-2), Lewis Duffy (1-2).

Subs used: Cormac O'Gara; Cayden McDonnell; Konrad Olesky.

U-14: Our U-14 Division One team had a good win in Saturday's rescheduled home game against Donaghmoyne. Despite strong winds and heavy showers making conditions difficult, the teams contested a good game that saw the first half finish level at 0-5 apiece. A brace of goals by Calum McCaffrey moved our lads ahead after the restart and a combination of some determined defending and some fine saves by Daniel Treanor helped see out a hard-earned win by 2-8 to 1-9.

Team and scorers: Daniel Treanor; Liam Ginley, Noah Connolly; Tristan Brannigan, Conor O'Neill, Ryan Lynch; Cillian McKenna (0-1), Calum McCaffrey (Capt., 2-6, 0-2f, 0-1 '45); Evan McGarry, Daithí Graham, Finn Brennan (0-1f); Séadanta Ó Grianna, Conall McGinnity.

Subs used: Gabriel Cunningham; Kyron Coughlan; Ronan O'Reilly; Dara McKenna.
