IFL: We started the Intermediate Football League with a hard-earned win away to Toome on Sunday. Despite a goal from Kevin Loughran, we trailed by 1-10 to 1-4 at half-time, leaving us with an uphill battle, albeit with the breeze at our backs for the second half. An improved display saw us rack up 1-14, led by Éimhín Morahan, who made a welcome return to the team for his first competitive game for us since 2022. Luke McManus, Michael Galligan, Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Liam Conway were also on target as we ended up on the right side of a 2-18 to 2-15 scoreline. Well done to Dara Mullin for making his first IFL start and to Jack Lynch for his senior debut. Our next IFL game is at home to Drumhowan on Saturday, week, April 26.
