Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 4, 20, 21, and 23. Jackpot of €4,400 not won. IFL: We lost out away to Carrickmacross last Saturday evening in the semi-finals of the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League. Dean Doherty, Aodhán Óg McAnespie, Lochlainn Power, Seán Callan and Luke McManus were all on target in the first half, but we still changed ends trailing by 0-11 to 0-5. Michael Galligan and Neil McAdam added their names to the scoresheet during the second half, but a brace of goals helped Carrick increase their winning margin.

We now turn our attention to the McElvaney Recycling Intermediate Football Championship, where we have been drawn along with Truagh, Carrickmacross, Castleblayney and Emyvale in Group Two. Our first game is away to Truagh on Sunday week, August 11, at 2pm.

Club Gear Swap: Thanks to everyone who contributed to our club Gear Swap at Gavan Duffy Park last Saturday morning. Well done to our Green Clubs committee for organising. If you couldn't make it last Saturday, don't worry as there will be other opportunities over the rest of the season.

Summer Camp: Our club summer camp returns from August 12 to 16. We are looking forward to a fun-filled week. Please fill out the expression of interest form via our social media if you have kids who would like to attend. As there are only limited places available, form completion does not guarantee a place. Payment secures places and can be made at juvenile training on Saturday mornings.

Minors: Our minor Division One team await the start of their championship campaign later this month.

U-16: Our U-16s lost out away to Emyvale last Thursday. A lethargic start left us chasing a ten-point deficit and while we ate into that gap during the third quarter, a couple of late goals swung the game back in Emyvale's favour. We host Éire Óg tonight (Thursday).

Our U-14s host Donaghmoyne this Saturday. The Division 5B championship continues with an away game in Clontibret later on Saturday, while the Division 5A lads are at home to Aughnamullen on Sunday morning. Good luck to all involved.
