Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 3, 8, 28, and 30. Jackpot of €4,600 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Ann Horgan c/o Matt McCaughey; Helen Scott c/o ClubZap; Hunter Ray c/o Rose Donnelly; and Damien Morgan c/o himself. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Neill McGinn. Jackpot for Sunday, August 18 is €4,700. Thanks to everyone for your continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club and is funding our ongoing development works. IFL: We lost out in our McElvaney Recycling Intermediate Football Championship Group Two opener away to Truagh last Sunday. Despite points from Aodhán Óg McAnespie, Neil McAdam and Michael Galligan, we trailed by 1-6 to 0-4 at half-time. A more competitive second half saw a goal from Luke McManus and points by Dylan McKenna and Michael keep us in touch, but Truagh stayed ahead on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-8. We have a bye this weekend, with our next game being at home to Castleblayney on Saturday week, August 24.

Summer camp: A great crowd of boys and girls have been attending our in-house summer camp all this week, wrapping up tomorrow (Friday). Thanks to our coaches and everyone involved.

Minors: Our minor Division One team await the start of their championship campaign later this month. The Division Five league semi-final at home to Castleblayney has been rescheduled for tomorrow evening (Friday).

 

U-16: Our U-16s are away to Killanny tonight (Thursday).

 

U-14: Our U-14 Division 5A team await their championship semi-final on the weekend of August 24-25.

 

U-12: Well done to our U-12 Division One team, who won a good contest in Castleblayney on Saturday. Hard luck to our Division Four and Six teams, who lost to Toome and Carrickmacross over the weekend.

Ladies: Well done to our senior ladies on opening their Junior Championship with a strong performance v Inniskeen last Sunday.
