Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 8, 12, 17 and 27. Jackpot of €1,900 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Noel 'Buster' Boyle c/o Dermot Coyle; Vincent McNally c/o Séamus Treanor; Éamonn Keelaghan c/o Noel Hennessy; Richard Rutledge c/o Paddy Donnelly. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Rose Donnelly. Jackpot for Sunday, August 8 is €2,000. The club is asking members willing and financially able to contribute through our lotto towards club maintenance and running expenses. This can be done by two options: set up a standing order to our club lotto via quarterly or annual payments or using our new club app by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone, registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member and buying club lotto in bulk or on a weekly basis. Anyone interested can contact either Rose Donnelly (086 0825782); Maria McKenna (086 1057725) or Adrian Dalton (087 7859582). Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

Seniors: We are away to Castleblayney in the SFL this Sunday at 3pm.

Reserves: We face Killanny in the Platinum Tanks RFL Division 1B Final in Corduff tomorrow night (Friday) at 7.30pm. Good luck to Peter Coyle, James Greenan and the panel. That is closely followed by two Reserve Championship games as we host Truagh in the McKeown Cup on Sunday, before facing either Aughnamullen or Truagh in the O'Duffy Cup on Wednesday.

U-19: We exited the U-19 FL Division One at the semi-final stage with a 2-6 to 3-18 defeat at home to Latton on Wednesday.

Team and scorers: Jason Allister; Jordan Crampton, James McKenny, James Curley; Terence McDonald, Liam Conway, Jake McConnon; Kevin Moran, Tiarnán O'Rourke; Mark McManus, Eoghan McGinnity (0-4, 2f), Shea Swift; Adam McGarry, Daragh Croarkin, Jake Power (1-2).

Subs used: Luke McManus; Gary Devlin (1-0); Jamie Coyle; Dylan McClave.

Minors: Our U-17s hosted Clones last Sunday as the league resumed. Points by Luke McManus, Cian Bradley, Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Eoin O'Hanlon saw us get off to a bright start, but Clones worked their way into the game to trail by just one at the water break. Oisín Treanor, Seán Callan and Eoin added scores during the second quarter, leaving it level at 0-7 apiece at half-time. Clones pushed on after the restart and although Senan Cudden hit the net, with Jake McConnon, Seán and Luke adding points, we fell short on a scoreline of 1-11 to 2-13. As our last youth team to return to competitive action since the tragic news about Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh, our minors observed a minute's silence prior to the game and wore black armbands as a mark of respect. Thanks to Adi and Clones for their kind words afterwards. We are away to Carrickmacross on Monday evening.

Team and scorers: Oisín Reilly; Mark Clerkin, Jake McConnon (0-1), Jordan Crampton; Shane Moran, Gary Devlin (Capt.), Seán Callan (0-2); Senan Cudden (1-0), Shea Swift; Cian Bradley (0-1), Luke McManus (0-3, 1f), Oisín Treanor (0-1); Fionán Ó Gallchóir (0-1), Eoin O'Hanlon (0-2f), Josh Kelly.

Sub used: Dáire Conlon.

County: It was a week of near-misses for the county senior, U-20 and minor teams. Hard luck to everyone involved, including our own Seán Callan, who was part of the Monaghan minor panel. Well done to the county minor and U-16 girls on their Ulster title wins.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.

Hurling:

Juveniles

We hosted a juvenile blitz last Wednesday in the Sem. We were delighted to welcome U-7 and U-9 teams from all corners of the county. Thank you to all those involved: parents, coaches and clubs. Many thanks to St. Macartan's College for the use of their grounds.

Our juvenile training continues on Sunday mornings at 11.30am.

Seniors: We face Inniskeen in the first round of the Junior Hurling Championship on Thursday, August 5. Throw in at 7.30pm.
