Sympathy: We lost a proud Harps woman in December with the passing of Eileen Morgan. Our thoughts remain with Jimmy, Seamus, Michael, Damien, Caroline, Aileen and the extended Morgan family at this time. We also pray for the family of the late Hugh Doherty, father of Carol, Barry, Paul & James and grandfather of club players and members Dean, Deagan, Barry and Orrin. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.
New Year's Day match: Our New Year's Day match took place on Monday, with thanks as always to our organising committee, led by Mary White and Owen Connell. Thanks to everyone who took part and who supported in any way. Well done in particular to Mark McCabe, who stole the show with his goals to win the Man-of-the-Match award, and to Owen Connell and Brian Harvey for their live commentary of the on-pitch action. Bualadh bos mór to our juvenile players who kept the crowd entertained during the half-time break, adding a little more pace and competitiveness to the occasion! GRMA to everyone who generously donated prizes for our raffle and to all who joined us in the clubhouse after the match.
Happy New Year: We would like to wish all our players, members, supporters and sponsors a happy and safe new year! Thanks to everyone who contributes to our club. Athbhliain faoi Mhaise Daoibh!
