Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 5, 7, 20 and 29. Jackpot of €2,600 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Jim Fanning c/o Dermot Coyle; Yvonne Deery c/o ClubZap; Isobel McCaughey c/o Matt McCaughey; and Dáire, Donncha & Conor Carey c/o ClubZap. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Paddy Donnelly. Jackpot for Sunday, January 10 is €2,700. The club is asking members willing and financially able to contribute through our lotto towards club maintenance and running expenses. This can be done by two options: set up a standing order to our club lotto via quarterly or annual payments or using our new club app by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone, registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member and buying club lotto in bulk or on a weekly basis. Anyone interested can contact either Rose Donnelly (086 0825782); Maria McKenna (086 1057725) or Adrian Dalton (087 7859582). Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

Happy New Year: We would like to wish all our players, members, supporters and sponsors a happy, and above all safe, new year! Thanks to everyone who has continued to contribute to our club. Athbhliain faoi Mhaise Daoibh!

Every Step Counts: Our Healthy Club Officer Úna Forde has registered the club for the GAA/Irish Life Every Step Counts challenge. We would usually be planning our Ireland Lights Up initiative in conjunction with Operation Transformation, but due to Covid-19, that cannot go ahead this year. The 'Every Step Counts Challenge' begins on January 13 and runs until March 3. Clubs who reach the target of walking a combined total of 4,000 km in that time – the equivalent of walking around the coastline of Ireland – will be entered into a draw to win O'Neill's vouchers to the value of €2500, €1500 or €1000. To take part, download the My Life app, register your details, tap on the social tab within the app and select your club. Family and friends can join in too.

Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin – Here To Help: As we return to Level 5 restrictions, we continue to be aware of the disruption caused by Covid-19, particularly to the elderly and vulnerable members of our community. The health and wellbeing of all our community is extremely important to us in Monaghan Harps GAA‏. See our club's social media accounts for useful contact numbers and some tips to mind your physical and mental health.

National Club Draw: Tickets for the 2021 National Club Draw will be available soon. Prizes include a car and All-Ireland tickets, while prizes are also up for grabs for clubs.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
