IFL: We had a hard-earned win at home to Carrickmacross in the Intermediate Football League last Friday. Points by Michael Galligan, Conor McCrystal and Senan Cudden had us 0-5 to 0-4 up at the end of an even first half, before 1-1 from Kevin Loughran extended our lead. Carrick battled back to force an exciting finish, but points from Dean Doherty and Michael kept us on the right side of a 1-9 to 0-11 scoreline. Well done to Jason Allister and Ethan McCaffrey for making their IFL debuts. We are away to Blackhill tomorrow night (Friday) at 8pm. All support welcome.
