Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 14, 26, 27 and 29. Jackpot of €2,000 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Tommy Reilly c/o ClubZap; Conor McCaughey c/o Matt McCaughey; Emily McElvaney c/o Eileen McElvaney (Ladies' Club); and Mia Gilsenan c/o Barry Sullivan. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Ann Treanor. Jackpot for Sunday, June 19 is €2,100. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

Pitch development: We are very happy that the work has begun, but in order to secure funding to complete additional works at Rooskey, we need people to subscribe to the monthly option for our lotto. This can be done by going into ClubZap, selecting club shop, play lotto online and finally selecting the €20 per month option. This will be a huge support to securing additional funding from Croke Park. I am aware that we all purchase weekly and at games etc., but it is the regular subscriptions that are needed as evidence of regular money coming into the club. Thanks in advance, Rose Donnelly 0860825782.

Men's Health Week: Our health & wellbeing committee are partnering with Crocus Men's Den to put together a major event to mark International Men's Health Week. This will take place in our clubhouse this evening (Thursday, June 16) at 7.30pm and is free for everyone to attend, with some great speakers lined up. Thanks to Una Forde and co. for organising what is sure to be a very informative evening.

Seniors: We hosted Doohamlet in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League last Friday. A brace of goals by Doohamlet left us chasing the game, but points by Neil McAdam, Michael Galligan, Luke McManus and Éimhín Morahan kept us in touch, before Luke found the net just on half-time to level it up at 1-7 to 2-4. It remained tight throughout the second half, with Aodhán Óg McAnespie, Dylan McKenna, Neil, Michael and Éimhín on target for us, but we were left to rue a series of near-misses as Doohamlet edged it by 2-11 to 1-12.

Team and scorers: Daragh Croarkin; Jake McConnon, Aodhán Óg McAnespie (Capt., 0-1), Gary Devlin; Dean Doherty, Kevin Loughran, Nathan Lavery; Tiarnán O'Rourke, Dylan McKenna (0-1); Neil McAdam (0-2, 1 '45); Lochlainn Power, Michael Galligan (0-3, 1f), Shea Swift; Luke McManus (1-1), Éimhín Morahan (0-4, 2f).

Subs: Shane McMahon for Doherty; Liam Conway for Swift.

There is a busy schedule in the IFL this week: we have away games v Cremartin tomorrow night (Friday) and Blackhill next Tuesday. Both throw in at 8pm. Please support!

Golf Classic: Thanks to our main sponsors – Amatino, Brix Workwear and Séamus Morgan Nissan – to all tee and green sponsors and participants.
