Flag Day: Our Juvenile Club's annual street collection takes place this Friday and Saturday, June 22 & 23. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help out: we still have a few spaces to fill on Saturday, from 1.30p, to 5.30. If anyone can give an hour or two, please let Alison Clerkin know (087 6528927). All help is greatly appreciated.

Golf Classic: Our 2024 Golf Classic takes place at Rossmore Golf Club this Saturday, June 22. Thanks to our organisers and sponsors, especially main sponsors Nissan Ireland; Monroe's Cocktail Bar; Amatino; and Dolan's Pharmacy. Good luck to everyone taking part.

Last Man Standing: Our senior footballers' fundraising Last Man Standing competition for Euro 2024 is underway. Thanks and good luck to everyone who entered.

Healthy Clubs event: Our Father's Day event, held last Sunday at Lough Major Ballybay, was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who helped out. The event was organised in collaboration with Crocus Men's Den and Healthy Clubs Ireland to highlight Men's Health Week and was a cross-parish/club initiative with Clontibret. We were delighted to see such great support by both communities. A special shout-out goes to everyone there who braved the temperatures for a cold-water dip.

Sponsor a Seat: To celebrate and promote the continued development of our facilities at Gavan Duffy Park, we are offering the opportunity to sponsor/dedicate all remaining seats in our stand at a cost of €50. Contact a player or committee member from any section of the club for more information.

IFL: We fell to a 1-11 to 2-6 defeat away to Blackhill last Friday. Goals from Kevin Moran and Oisín Fagan and points by Gary Devlin, Seán Callan, Neil McAdam, Conor McCrystal and Michael Galligan had us ahead for much of the game, but Blackhill finished strongly to take the win. Our next game is at home to Castleblayney on Friday week, June 28. Well done to Dara Mullin for making his IFL debut.
