DIL: Darkness Into Light, the annual fundraiser for Pieta House, returns to Monaghan Town in the early hours of this Saturday, May 11, starting and finishing at our club grounds. Registration is open via darknessintolight.ie. All help from club members would be greatly appreciated as always.
IFL: We had a good win away to Tyholland in the Intermediate Football League last Saturday. A Luke McManus goal and points from Luke, Cian Bradley, Liam Hahessy, Michael Galligan and Fionán Ó Gallchóir moved us ahead in the first half. Second-half goals by Seán Callan and Conor McCrystal sealed the win, while Dylan McKenna and Nathan Lavery added their names to the scoresheet. We host Truagh this Saturday at 7pm. All support welcome.

After-school programme: Following on from the success of our Easter after-school Gaelic Football coaching sessions at St. Mary's Boys' National School, we are running a further programme, in partnership with Monaghan GAA, until May 29. Thanks to everyone involved.
Juvenile coaching: We have been delighted to welcome our youngest juveniles for the return of our Saturday-morning football coaching over recent weeks. Thanks to everyone involved. County: Good luck to Shea Corrigan, Mark Lynch, Josh Cassidy and the Monaghan minor footballers in this Saturday's Ulster MFC quarter-final away to Armagh. Well done to the county U-20 hurlers on qualifying for the All-Ireland 'C' Final.
Reserves: We host Killanny in the RFL Division 3B this Sunday at 2pm. We have been drawn to play away to Aughnamullen in the first round of the O'Duffy Cup championship on Friday week, May 17.
Minors: Our minor Division One team had a good win away to Emyvale on Tuesday evening. The league continues with another away game in Scotstown next Tuesday.
U-16: Our U-16s fell just short despite a competitive performance at home to a strong Aughnamullen team last Thursday.

U-14: Our U-14 Division One team battled back to claim a share of the spoils in an exciting game away to Castleblayney last Wednesday. Next up is a home game against Scotstown this Saturday. Our Division 5B team are away to Donaghmoyne tomorrow evening (Friday), while the Division 5A lads are in Castleblayney on Sunday morning.
