County: Hard luck to Seán Callan, Jack Lynch, Oisín Reilly and the Monaghan minors on their Ulster MFC exit against Donegal. Unfortunately, injury meant Seán was unable to lead the Monaghan team out during the championship, but it was a great honour to be selected as county minor captain. Best of luck to the lads and their clubmates in the rest of the season!
National Club Draw: The 2022 National Club Draw will take place on June 2, with prizes including a car, €2,000 cash and All-Ireland Hurling & Football Final packages. We ask club members who have yet to collect their book of tickets to contact Rose Donnelly and anyone who has sold a book of tickets to return them ASAP. All proceeds go directly into the running of our club, with pitch-development works starting soon.
Scór: We are delighted to get Scór na bPáistí up and running again this year. Any primary-school children interested in recitation, solo singing, drama or music can contact Jackie Reilly (086 8588648) to get involved in representing the Harps.
Quiz: The Hurling Club's table quiz brought a good crowd to our clubhouse last Friday night. Well done to everyone involved in organising the quiz and to Brian Clerkin for an excellent job as MC. Congratulations to the raffle winners: Stephen Driver; Eimear Brennan; Brian & Eileen Treanor; Owen Connell; Hilda McManus; Paul Heaney; Aoife Quinn; Emma Cleary; and Laura Carroll.
Golf Classic: The next date for your diary for a big club event is our Golf Classic on June 10.
