Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 2, 6, 8 and 18. Jackpot of €3,500 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Pat Scallon c/o Ann Treanor; Raymond McKenna c/o Marian O'Brien; Helen McEntee c/o Jim Dalton (Hurling Club); and Terry Gilsenan c/o Ann Treanor. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Paddy Donnelly. Jackpot for Sunday, June 2 is €3,600. Last Man Standing: Our senior footballers are running a fundraising Last Man Standing competition for Euro 2024 this summer. It is €10 to enter, with prize money of €500. Please support our seniors with this initiative and raise some vital funds.

 

IFL: We had a hard-earned win away to Clones in the Intermediate Football League last Saturday. Points by Conor McCrystal, Michael Galligan, Luke McManus and Daragh Croarkin had us 0-5 to 0-4 up at half-time, before Cian Bradley palmed home the only goal of the game. Further scores from Gary Devlin, Seán Callan. Michael, Luke and Daragh secured a win on a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-11. Our next game is at home to Carrickmacross on Friday week, June 7.

Our Division 3B team were edged out in a topsy-turvy game away to Truagh last Sunday. We wish our Club Chairman Peter Coyle a speedy recovery from the unfortunate injury he suffered towards the end of Sunday's game.

We host Latton in Division 1A tomorrow night (Friday), before playing away to Donaghmoyne next Tuesday.

 

Minors: Our minor Division Five team had a narrow loss in Scotstown on Tuesday evening. The minor leagues go into the exam break.

 

U-16: Our U-16s lost away to Scotstown last Thursday in our last game before the exam break.

U-15: Our U-15s enter the county Féile competition in Cloghan on bank holiday Monday, June 3.

 

U-14: Our U-14 Division One team fell just short in a good contest away to Truagh last Sunday, while our Division 5A and 5B teams had wins over the weekend against Castleblayney and Scotstown. The Division One league continues with another away game in Inniskeen this evening (Thursday). Next Wednesday sees our Division 5A side travel to Aughnamullen.

 

U-12: Well done to our U-12s who performed well in last Friday's Spring League Finals day v Magheracloone in Cloghan. We will compete in Divisions One and Five of the upcoming U-12 Football Leagues.

 

Hurling: Good luck to our hurlers in their DHL semi-final away to Truagh this evening (Thursday).

 

County: Hard luck to James and Enda Brady, Rylan McCooey, mentors Patrick Hannon and Conor O'Neill and the Monaghan U-20 hurlers who lost out on penalties in the All-Ireland 'C' Final. Good luck to Joseph O'Neill, Jack McMahon, Dáire McKenna, Caolán Connolly-Smith, Dean Mulligan and the county minor hurlers in the Corn Michael Feery Final in Crossmaglen this Saturday and to the senior teams in Sunday's All-Ireland series double-header in Clones.

 

Summer camps: The Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp returns to Gavan Duffy Park from July 1-5. Our own in-house summer camp will take place from August 12-16. More details to follow.

 

After-school programme: Our latest after-school Gaelic Football coaching programme at St. Mary's Boys' National School, in partnership with Monaghan GAA, wraps up this week. Thanks to everyone involved.

 

Juvenile coaching: Thanks to everyone involved in our Saturday-morning football coaching. Training continues every Saturday at 10am in Gavan Duffy. To register a new or existing player, please log on to the Foireann app or www.foireann.ie.

 

Registration: Thanks to everyone who has renewed their membership for 2024: your continued support is appreciated. GRMA to our new registrar Claire Ní Dhufaigh for her efforts. It is essential that all players at each grade are registered ASAP. Míle buíochas.
