Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 12, 24, 26 and 29. Jackpot of €3,500 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Marie Kelly (Toome) c/o Niamh Kelly; Seán Dwyer (Sligo) c/o Neill McGinn; Patricia McCann c/o Paddy Donnelly; and Tiarnán Bramley c/o Marie Farrell. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Neill McGinn. Jackpot for Sunday, November 28 is €3,600. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

 

JFL Final: We hosted the JFL Final between Toome and Clones last Sunday, which brought a bumper crowd to Gavan Duffy Park. Thanks to our club members who helped out in various capacities on the day and to everyone who had our pitch and facilities in excellent condition.

 

AGM: A chairde, we will hold our AGM next Thursday (December 2) at 7.30pm. All Covid-19 protocols will be applied.

 

Congratulations: To Conor McDonnell on winning a well-deserved Special Recognition Award for Handball at last weekend's Ulster GAA President's Awards night.

 

Christmas cards: Our own Noel Hennessy is currently selling Christmas cards on behalf of a worthy cause, the County Monaghan branch of MS Ireland. A pack of ten assorted cards costs €5. Noel can be contacted at 086 8258411.

Ógie jerseys: Orders for our limited-edition Ógie jerseys can now be made using our ClubZap app. Open the app and tap on 'Club Shop' to order.

 

Apartment in Lanzarote: Monaghan GAA are running a development draw with a first prize of a Holiday Home in Lanzarote. The club has received some tickets from the county board, costing €75 each, and they can be purchased by contacting Rose Donnelly (086 0825782).

 

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.

 

Ladies notes:

Our U-16 2020 squad (joint-winners), 2021 Minors and Senior League Division Three panel were all presented with their winners' medals recently. Big congratulations to all players and management.

Our AGM will take place on Saturday, December 4 at 7.30pm in the clubhouse. Covid protocols will be in place. We will welcome all new members. Please ensure every juvenile is represented by at least one parent.
