Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

AGM: Our juvenile committee's AGM takes place tonight (Wednesday) in our clubhouse at 7.30. Our senior Annual General Meeting takes place on Wednesday, November 30.

Seniors: Our thanks go to Paddy Kelly as he steps down as our senior football manager after a four-year term that was, in his own words, "a rollercoaster of emotions". Having taken charge of the team for the 2019 season, Paddy led us to an IFC title in 2020, before guiding us through two challenging years while introducing a raft of young players to adult football. Paddy and his back-room team worked closely with the club in guiding us through some dark and very challenging days, for which we will remain grateful. Thanks also to Steven Creighan for serving throughout those four years as selector, to Christopher Quinn, Darren Swift and previously Ryan Mellon for their time and effort on the training pitch, to our goalkeeping coach Aaron McCarey and to Michael O'Donoghue and Colm Shalvey on stats. We wish everyone involved all the best in the future.

Online club shop: Our online PlayrFit club shop has reopened ahead of Christmas and will close at midnight this Sunday, November 13. See our social media for the link.

Movember: Several club members have signed up to take part in the Movember championship, where Monaghan GAA have joined forces with the local Crocus Men's Den to raise funds for Crocus Cancer Support Centre and awareness of Men's Health. It's not too late to sign up, so contact Úna Forde if you want to get involved for a very worthy cause.

Schools: While the 2022 club season has wrapped up at all levels, we wish good luck to all our young players currently representing the club in schools' and third-level competitions. We are due to host St. Macartan's College's MacRory Cup opener this Saturday at 1.45pm.

Scór: After a very successful year in Scór competitions for our adult and juvenile competitors, our Cultural committee are organising an evening of ceol agus craic for Sunday week, November 20. Keep an eye on our club notes and social media for more details.

Quiz: Monaghan GAA and Muineachán le Gaeilge have organised a table quiz which will take place in our clubhouse next Thursday (November 17). Beidh duaiseanna den scoth le buacaint ag an Tráth na gCeist mór seo i gClubtheach na gCláirseach. It would be good to see a few teams from the club taking part on the night.

Clubhouse: We are looking to recruit new bar staff for the clubhouse (must be over 18, preferably with experience). If interested, please contact Damien Morgan (086 8614730) or Úna Forde (087 6107329).

Pitch development: Our development is moving along nicely. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to our lotto on a weekly basis, which has made this possible. To develop our pitches, access and look at floodlit facilities for the future, please help our club's growth financially through buying the lotto each week on the ClubZap app or from our many sellers.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
