Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 4, 5, 12 and 14. Jackpot of €4,800 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Dylan McAree c/o ClubZap; Patricia McCann c/o Paddy Donnelly; Madge Coyle c/o Dermot Coyle; and Ronan Lynch c/o Séamus Treanor. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Neill McGinn. Jackpot for Sunday, November 12 is €4,900. Our €100 bonus draw for regular Lotto players was won by Noel Hennessy. Congrats to Noel and GRMA to all our Lotto supporters and sellers. Lotto funds go directly to club development which benefits everyone.

 

AGM: Our AGM will be held next Thursday, November 16, in the clubhouse. Please note that in order to nominate, be nominated or vote at an AGM, you need to have been a paid-up club member by the end of March 2023.

 

County minor: Congratulations to all of the Monaghan minor football team and coaches, including selector Adrian Gunn, who marked their thrilling season at a function in the Four Seasons Hotel last Friday night. Well done to our own players Jack Lynch, Ethan McCaffrey, John McCrystal, Mark Lynch, Shea Corrigan, who received their All-Ireland runner-up medals and photos from Conor McManus. Congratulations to Jack Lynch who received recognition on the night for his Minor All-Star award along with his fellow county recipients.

 

Schools: While the 2023 club season has wrapped up at all levels, we wish good luck to all our young players currently representing the club in schools' and third-level competitions.

 

Movember: Almost 30 club members have signed up to take part in the Movember championship, where Monaghan GAA have joined forces with the local Crocus Men's Den to raise funds for Crocus Cancer Support Centre and awareness of Men's Health. All donations are appreciated: see online or contact any of our participants.

 

Cumann na mBunscol: We wish good luck to all our young Harps players in Gaelscoil Ultain who are playing in the rescheduled Division One Cumann na mBunscol boys' final on Saturday morning in Castleblayney. Go n-éirí libh a bhuachaillí.

 

Online club shop: Our online club shop with Playr-fit is now open for Christmas orders. There is a wide variety of Harps training gear on sale for all ages! The shop will close at midnight this Sunday, November 12. All orders placed will be delivered five weeks after the closing date.

 

Sports Uniting Communities: Monaghan Harps had the pleasure of hosting '#Sports Uniting Communities' which is a GAA initiative to introduce children to other sports within the community. A number of schools from Monaghan Town took part in a coaching session which introduced them to the basic skills of each sports code. Thanks to everyone involved.

 

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club.
