Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 2, 7, 21 and 30. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were Brendan McCleary c/o Owen Connell; Paddy Donnelly c/o Jim Dalton (Hurling Club); Sarah McCaughey c/o Matt McCaughey; and Owen Connell (direct debit) c/o himself. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Ann Treanor. Jackpot for Sunday, October 18 is €1,600. The club is asking members willing and financially able to contribute through our lotto towards club maintenance and running expenses. This can be done by two options: set up a standing order to our club lotto via quarterly or annual payments or using our new club app by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone, registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member and buying club lotto in bulk or on a weekly basis. Anyone interested can contact either Rose Donnelly (086 0825782); Maria McKenna (086 1057725) or Adrian Dalton (087 7859582). Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club, particularly this year. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

Seniors: Congratulations to six of our players (Aodhán Óg McAnespie, Kevin Loughran, Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh, Neil McAdam, Conor Galligan and Éimhín Morahan) on being selected on the Monaghan GAA IFC All-Star team for 2020! This is great recognition for their performances and the team's efforts in a successful championship run.

County: Good luck to Kevin Loughran and the Monaghan senior team as they return to NFL action on Saturday and to Daragh Croarkin, Nathan Lavery, Tiarnán O'Rourke and the county minors in their Ulster MFC opener. The inter-county games will be played behind closed doors.

COVID-19 Guidelines: Following the GAA announcement last week, all club games have been suspended until further notice. Thanks to our coaches, players, volunteers and Covid supervisors for their efforts throughout the return to play. We advise our club members to continue to take care and follow the health guidelines. Please keep an eye on our social media accounts for further updates.

County final goals: From the county final goal times competition sold at our Golf Classic last month, the winners were Éamon McQuillan and Fr. Frank McManus. Thanks to everyone for their support.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.

Hurling:

Club activities: All club activities have been postponed following the GAA's announcement last week. Senior training has also been cancelled as the club look to stop the spread of COVID 19. We advise all of our club members to stay safe, stay apart and keep washing your hands.

Juveniles: The juvenile season has now concluded. A massive amount of thanks goes to Jim, Adrian and all of the coaches who helped with the juveniles this year. Adrian has a selection of hurleys and sliotars available at a discounted rate for club members. We would love to see all of our younger members keeping up their skills practice over the winter months and coming back ready for action next year! Contact Adrian on 087 7859582 if you are looking for any equipment or if you are interested in getting your child started playing hurling next year.
