Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 8, 17, 18 and 24. Jackpot of €3,200 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Maurice Galligan c/o Barry Sullivan; Deirdre Nolan c/o Ann Treanor; Dessie McConnon c/o Ann Treanor; and Tony Murphy c/o Jimmy Croarkin. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Paddy Donnelly. Jackpot for Sunday, September 11 is €3,300. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

Seniors: We fell to a disappointing defeat at home to Toome in the Intermediate Football Championship last Saturday. Points by Neil McAdam, Conor McCrystal and Éimhín Morahan were all we had to show for a dull first half where we had lots of possession but failed to make it count in the pouring rain, leaving us just one up at the interval (0-3 to 0-2). Éimhín Morahan and Michael Galligan were our only scorers of the second half as we continued to struggle to convert possession, with a more clinical Toome side picking off a series of late points to claim the win by 0-12 to 0-7. We wish Conor McCrystal a speedy recovery from his injury.

Team and scorers: Daragh Croarkin; Jake McConnon, Nicholas Scott, Thomas Croarkin; Aodhán Óg McAnespie (Capt.); Dean Doherty, Neil McAdam (0-1f), Kevin Loughran; Dylan McKenna, Tiarnán O'Rourke; Gary Devlin, Conor McCrystal (0-1), Lochlainn Power; Éimhín Morahan (0-4, 3f), Gary White.

Subs: Michael Galligan (0-1) for White (H-T); Oisín Fagan for Power (36 mins); Luke McManus for McCrystal (inj., 52); Liam Conway for Devlin, Nathan Lavery for McKenna (both 54).

We have a must-win game in Tyholland this Sunday as Group Two concludes. Please support.

Pitch development: Monaghan Harps GAA Club is developing its grounds to improve how we serve the local community. Our second pitch is to be upgraded from a clay pitch to sand-based to allow trainings to continue even in the darker, wetter months. A third sand-based pitch to help accommodate the large and growing numbers in our club community. With football (ladies' & men's), hurling and handball, our club's facilities & coaches provide for so many in our community. To develop our pitches, access and look at floodlit facilities for the future, please help our club's growth financially through buying the lotto each week on the ClubZap app or from our many sellers.

Sympathy: Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin CLG would like to express sincere sympathy to Scott McCaffrey and family on the death of his father, Seán, whose Funeral Mass takes place tomorrow (Friday). We keep his family in our thoughts at this difficult time.

Minor: Our U-17 Division 3B team stayed in contention for a championship semi-final place with a hard-earned win at home to Donaghmoyne last Thursday. An improved Donaghmoyne side from our league semi-final meeting pushed our lads all the way, but goals from John McCrystal and Oisín Reilly and points by Shane McGarry, Julian Coyle, John Paul Ginley and Orrin Doherty kept us in touch in a close contest. Donaghmoyne pushed ahead midway through the second half, but a late goal from Oisín and some fine scores from John guided us over the winning line on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-16.

Team and scorers Oisín McGeown; Ali Galligan, Max Mallen (Capt.); Dónal Moran, Kyle Cooney, Fergal Magee; Jack Kierans, Dara Mullin; Julian Coyle (0-1), John McCrystal (1-6, 0-3f), Eoin Sheridan; Shane McGarry (0-2), Oisín Reilly (2-0).

Subs used: John Paul Ginley (0-1f), Orrin Doherty (0-1).

Our next Division 3B game is against Emyvale, while St. Patrick's are next up for our Division One side.

U-15: Our U-15 Division One team lost narrowly away to Scotstown in a Group A decider last Wednesday. The momentum ebbed and flowed throughout a game that ended with the hosts two points to the good at 2-11 to 3-6. Our lads had already done enough to secure a place in the championship semi-finals, which sees us travel to Castleblayney this Saturday for a 12.30pm throw-in.

Team: Oisín Brannigan; John Sherry, Conor Farmer, Daniel Alexis; Orrin Doherty, Shay Lambe, Shea Corrigan; Mark Lynch (Capt.), Kyle Lavery; Eoin Sheridan, Josh Cassidy, John Paul Ginley; Joe Gunn, Rhys McCaffrey, Adam Richardson.

Subs used: Shane McGarry; Dáire McKenna; Deagan Doherty.

Our Division 5A side continued their winning run with a high-scoring performance away to Clontibret on Friday, setting up a home semi-final against Scotstown this Sunday at 12 noon. Good luck to all involved with both teams this weekend.

Panel: Alex Flynn, Daniel Aughey, Ryan Grant, Ruairí Smyth, Robert Uskaus, Conor Farmer, Deagan Doherty, Kyle Lavery, Joe Gunn (Capt.), Luke Swift, Winston Onkeweke, Oisín Brannigan, Joseph O'Neill, Daithí Devlin, James Cunningham, Daniel Alexis, Jake Cassidy, Caolán Conlon.

U-13: Our U-13 Division Six team concluded their championship group stage with an exciting draw in last night's rescheduled game in Carrickmacross. Good luck to our Division Two side, who have a play-off away to Tyholland tomorrow evening (Friday) at 6.30pm.

U-11: Our U-11s host Inniskeen in the penultimate round of the Liam Stirrat Development League this Saturday.

Scór: Scór Sinsir table quiz is on next Thursday (September 15) in Truagh at 8pm, with the stage events taking place on Sunday week in Corcaghan at 6pm. We will be represented in the quiz and by a ballad group, music group, singers and a novelty act. Ádh mór oraibh uilig!
