IFL: Our Intermediate Football League campaign began with a home game against Castleblayney on Tuesday evening. After a slow start, our lads worked their way into the game, with points from Conor McCrystal, Michael Galligan, Evan Doherty and Neil McAdam seeing us lead by 0-7 to 0-6 at half-time. We retained a slender lead for most of the second half, with Niall Greenan and Michael on target, but Blayney finished strongly to grab both points on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-11. Well done to Seán Callan on making his debut at this level. We travel to Clones this Sunday for a 2pm throw-in. All support welcome!
