Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 6, 10, 21 and 30. Jackpot of €4,200 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Aodhán Óg McAnespie (direct debit) c/o senior footballers; Bernie McKenna c/o herself; Brian O'Sullivan & family c/o ClubZap; and Tiernan McKenna c/o Maria McKenna. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Eileen McElvaney. Jackpot for Sunday, May 2 is €4,300. The club is asking members willing and financially able to contribute through our lotto towards club maintenance and running expenses. This can be done by two options: set up a standing order to our club lotto via quarterly or annual payments or using our new club app by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone, registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member and buying club lotto in bulk or on a weekly basis. Anyone interested can contact either Rose Donnelly (086 0825782); Maria McKenna (086 1057725) or Adrian Dalton (087 7859582). Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

Juvenile Training: With Government guidelines finally easing, juvenile training returned in pods of 15 on Monday on a non-contact basis. We are delighted to see the first step of the safe return of training for our club teams and to see our pitches being used once again. Thanks to everyone who has prepared our pitches and to our coaches and Covid supervisors.

Registration: Registration fees for 2021 can now be paid via the Foireann system or on ClubZap. Fees are as follows: U-11s €20; juveniles/seniors €30; family membership €60. You can also renew your membership by contacting club registrar Kevin Treanor (087 6496994) or treasurer Rose Donnelly (086 0825782). Please note that all juvenile and adult players must be paid-up members. With fundraising remaining limited, your support is greatly appreciated during these times.

National Club Draw: The 2021 National Club Draw will take place in June, with prizes including €2,000 cash and All-Ireland Hurling & Football Final packages. For anyone who has sold a book of tickets, please drop them into the letterbox at our clubhouse and contact Rose Donnelly. Please return all tickets as soon as possible. As fundraising opportunities remain limited, your support is greatly appreciated.

Coaching: Monaghan GAA Coaching and Games are now inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following roles: Development Administrator; and Games Promotion Officer. Candidates interested should apply by sending an up-to-date cover letter and CV to jobapplications@gaa.ie on or before 3pm on Thursday, April 29. We will again be hosting a Kellogg's Cúl Camp this summer from July 5-9. Register now at gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps.

Fundraisers: Ciarán McQuaid and a group of his friends are undertaking a 'Malin to Mizen' charity cycle in July in memory of his father, Roger. If you wish to donate to this fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society, you can do so via their JustGiving page. We wish the best of luck to everyone involved in this worthy fundraiser in Roger's memory. Starting this weekend, Kiss Goodbye To MS challenges people to choose to run or walk 50km throughout the month and make a big impact for MS research and access to treatment.

Referee recruitment: Monaghan GAA recently launched an appeal for new referees. It is proposed that the basic Level 1 course be delivered as follows: two modules online and two in classroom form when circumstances allow. Please contact any committee member if you are interested in getting involved.

Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin – Here To Help: We continue to be aware of the disruption caused by Covid-19, particularly to the elderly and vulnerable members of our community. The health and wellbeing of all our community is extremely important to us in Monaghan Harps GAA‏. See our club's social media accounts for useful contact numbers and some tips to mind your physical and mental health.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
