Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 6, 14, 20 and 29. Jackpot of €2,100 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Aideen McEnaney c/o Paudge Connolly; Vera Murphy c/o Sheila Treanor; Hugh McCague c/o Séamus Treanor; and Anne McManus c/o ClubZap. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Paddy Donnelly. Jackpot for Sunday, August 22 is €2,200. The club is asking members willing and financially able to contribute through our lotto towards club maintenance and running expenses. This can be done by two options: set up a standing order to our club lotto via quarterly or annual payments or using our new club app by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone, registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member and buying club lotto in bulk or on a weekly basis. Anyone interested can contact either Rose Donnelly (086 0825782); Maria McKenna (086 1057725) or Adrian Dalton (087 7859582). Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

Seniors: Our rescheduled SFL game away to Castleblayney has been set for next Tuesday at 8pm.

Reserves: We are away to Truagh in the O'Duffy Cup tomorrow night (Wednesday). The RFL Division 1B Final against Killanny has been refixed for this Saturday in Drumhowan at 6.30pm. All support welcome. Our McKeown Cup game against Truagh is now set for Saturday week (August 28).

Minors: Our U-17s returned to winning ways in a thriller at home to Scotstown on Monday evening. 1-1 by Seán Callan and points by Shea Swift and Senan Cudden had us level at 1-3 apiece after the first quarter, but although Cian Bradley, Shea, Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Eoin O'Hanlon added points before half-time, a brace of goals by Scotstown saw them lead by 3-5 to 1-9 at the break. Our lads pushed on strongly during the third quarter, with Fionán hitting 1-2 and Luke McManus and Eoin adding points, before a goal by Senan moved us seven clear. Scotstown finished strongly to close the gap to two by the end (3-14 to 3-12), but some determined defending and a couple of crucial saves by Oisín Reilly earned us a win that saw us finish in joint-fourth in the Division One table. Check online for fixture details.

Team and scorers: Oisín Reilly; Dáire Conlon, Jake McConnon, Mark Clerkin; Shane Moran, Gary Devlin (Capt.), Jordan Crampton; Seán Callan (1-1, 1-0 pen), Luke McManus (0-1f); Cian Bradley (0-2), Senan Cudden (1-1), Shea Swift (0-2); Fionán Ó Gallchóir (1-4), Josh Kelly, Eoin O'Hanlon (0-3, 2f).

Covid-19: Amid the increase in case numbers in the Monaghan area, we wish to remind our members and friends to remain cautious and comply with the health guidelines to keep everyone safe. We remind you to sanitise when entering the grounds at Gavan Duffy Park and for all players and parents to continue to update health status online before training and games.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.

Hurling:

Seniors: The final group-stage fixture of the Junior Hurling Championship takes place on Friday evening. We travel to face Castleblayney with throw-in at 7.15pm. A win will see us advance to the final.

Juveniles: Thank you to Latton for hosting a wonderful blitz of hurling on Sunday morning. Our Under-7s and Under-9s got several matches each, with a great display of talent on show. Training continues on Sunday at 11.30.

Congratulations: Best wishes to Patrick Meehan and Jennifer Hurson on their recent wedding. We wish them many happy years together and may their future kids wear the green and white of 'The Harps'. Enjoy the honeymoon but make sure you're back for the next round of championship!

Ladies:

Best of luck to our seniors, who play Donaghmoyne B this Sunday in Rooskey in the League Division Three semi-final.

Well done to our minors, who have qualified for the Division Three Championship Final following a convincing win over Seán McDermotts in the final group game last Thursday.

Congratulations to minor player Scarlett Herron, who was recently called up to the Republic of Ireland U-19 soccer training camp.
