Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 3, 11, 26 and 27. Jackpot of €1,200 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Willie Connolly c/o Jim Dalton (Hurling Club); Gerard Leonard c/o Jim Dalton (Hurling Club); Ciara McGinn c/o Neill McGinn; and Amy Sullivan c/o Barry Sullivan. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Dermot Coyle. Jackpot for our last draw of 2023 this Sunday, December 17, is €1,300. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club and is funding our ongoing development works. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

Movember: Thanks to everyone who took part in or supported our Movember fundraiser on behalf of Crocus Cancer Support Centre. We were named as the Crocus Monaghan GAA Movember Club Champions on Thursday, so well done to all involved. GRMA to Martin Maguire and everyone at the local Crocus Men's Den, who once again joined forces with Monaghan GAA this year to raise funds, as well as awareness of Men's Health.

Christmas party: We are hosting a Christmas party this Sunday evening from 7pm and inviting our neighbours from Rooskey Vale over to our clubhouse. We would be very grateful if club members would please support this either by making some sandwiches or buns and/or joining us on the night to give them a warm Monaghan Harps welcome. Bígí linn!

Junior Disco: Why not get down to the Harps clubhouse on Saturday, December 23, for a Christmas boogie alongside the one and only Santa Claus?! €5 entry, €10 per family. There will be a raffle, spot prizes and dancing galore! Don't forget to wear Christmas jumpers! Children of primary-school age are welcome for the last dance before the big day. See our social media to register interest so we have an idea of numbers attending. GRMA.

Schools: We wish good luck to all our young players currently representing the club in schools' and third-level competitions. Hard luck to Seán Callan and Shea Swift, who lost out in Freshers' league finals with Ulster University and DCU last week.

Clothing drive: Our Hurling Club's annual clothing drive is planned again for January 13 and 20, 2024. If you have any unwanted clothes, please keep them until January and bring them to the clubhouse.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
