Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

Thanks: This week's Lotto was our last draw of 2022. Thanks to everyone for continuing to support our Lotto and to the committee and the regular helpers for their efforts in keeping the show on the road and providing essential funding towards our development work.

Charity match: Our charity match makes a welcome return on New Year's Day at 3pm. Sponsorship cards are available from Mary White, Owen Connell, Terry's Bar and our clubhouse. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our first charity match since December 2019! Bígí linn!

Junior Disco: Why not get down to the Harps clubhouse on Thursday, December 22, for a Christmas boogie alongside the one and only Santa Claus?! €2 entry, €5 per family of three plus. There will be a raffle, spot prizes and dancing galore! Don't forget to wear Christmas jumpers! Children of primary-school age are welcome for the last dance before the big day. See our social media to register interest so we have an idea of numbers attending. GRMA.

Christmas: We would like to wish all our players, members, supporters and sponsors a happy and safe Christmas and new year! Thanks to everyone who contributed to our club this year and best wishes for 2023. Nollaig Shona agus Athbhliain faoi Mhaise Daoibh!

Awards: We were delighted to nominate Jim Dalton as our representative at Monaghan GAA's Volunteer appreciation night. Jim's affable character and hands-on approach in many roles make him an invaluable asset to our club; thanks for everything, Jim. Congratulations also to the hurlers' nominee Éanna Finlay, who plays a role in all aspects of our hurling club, particularly with juvenile coaching. Two worthy recipients. Comhghairdeas libh!

Bag pack: The club, as a whole, is doing a fundraising bag-pack tomorrow (Friday, December 23) in Fleming's SuperValu. It's a great opportunity to raise money to update the club facilities. If you can spare an hour or two of your time, please send Adrian Dalton/Una Forde the time you're available so we can coordinate the rota. We start at 8am and finish at 8pm. Bag packers must be 16 or over. Míle buíochas.

Coaching: We are currently seeking expressions of interest in coaching our juveniles for 2023, at both competitive and non-competitive age groups. Upskilling and training will be offered to new coaches as required. Please send on any interest you may have to coach/assist next year and with what age-group to our Coaching Officer Paddy Kelly (087 0654103).

Sympathy: Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin CLG would like to express our sincere sympathy to Joe Ó Gallchóir and family on the death of his brother, Cathal, and to the family of the late Marion Donnelly. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Clubhouse: We are looking to recruit new bar staff for the clubhouse (must be over 18, preferably with experience). If interested, please contact Damien Morgan (086 8614730) or Úna Forde (087 6107329).

Pitch development: Our development continues to move along steadily. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to our lotto on a weekly basis, which has made this possible. To develop our pitches, access and look at floodlit facilities for the future, please help our club's growth financially through buying the lotto each week on the ClubZap app or from our many sellers.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
