Congratulations: To Conor McDonnell on being elected as the GAA Handball Association's next President. This is a fantastic achievement for Conor and we wish him all the best as he takes up the role in 2023 for a three-year term.

Colleges: Good luck to all Harps players currently competing in third-level and Ulster Schools' competitions. Best wishes to Seán Callan, Jack and Mark Lynch, John McCrystal and the St. Macartan's College team in this evening's Rannafast Cup Final.

Scór: Scór returns with the Scór na nÓg county final on Saturday, March 5. Our club will be represented on the night. The quiz is set for Tuesday, March 1. Anyone under the age of 17 who is interested can contact Jackie Reilly on 085 8588648. GRMA to Jackie for coming on board as Cultural Officer and best wishes for the year ahead to everyone involved.

Sympathy: Monaghan Harps send deepest sympathy to the McConnon family on the passing of Carmel's brother, Enda McCarney, and to Seán McKenna and family on the death of his brother, Stephen. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Cúl Camp: Save the dates for our 2022 Kellogg's Cúl Camp at Gavan Duffy Park: July 4-8. More information will be available soon.

Urgent: Ground-development works need to start ASAP as grant funding expires soon. Matching finance is needed from the club. Please support our lotto frequently. Become a regular lotto player by buying weekly or setting up a recurring entry on ClubZap or direct debit or contact Rose Donnelly 086 0825782. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Pitch: Our main pitch remains closed for repairs and essential maintenance. We ask that everyone stays off the main pitch until further notice and we appreciate the co-operation of all club members.

Coaching: We are asking new coaches to get involved at juvenile level, particularly with our U-11s and also with our youngest groups on Saturday mornings. This is the perfect place to start coaching and now is an ideal time of year to begin to learn/upskill. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Pádraig Callan on 087 2543511 or callanpadraig@yahoo.ie. Monaghan GAA Coaching and Games have organised another series of Coach Development Workshops for the next few weeks. See the Monaghan GAA website and social media for more details.

Every Step Counts: The 'Every Step Counts Challenge' runs until February 23. Clubs who reach the target of walking a combined total of 4,000 km in that time – the equivalent of walking around the coastline of Ireland – will be entered into a draw to win O'Neill's vouchers. We have already reached that milestone, but we encourage everyone to keep up the healthy habits. To take part, download the My Life app, register your details, tap on the social tab within the app, enter Every Step Counts (Ulster) and select Monaghan Harps.

Registration: Registration fees for 2022 can now be paid via Foireann.ie (use your log-in details from last year's return-to-play questionnaires). When you open the app, select 'my club' and 'membership' to pay your membership in seconds. Fees are as follows: juveniles €30; senior citizens €30; adults €50; family membership €90. You can also renew your membership by contacting club registrar Kevin Treanor or treasurer Rose Donnelly. Please note that all juvenile and adult players must be paid-up members. With fundraising opportunities remaining limited, your support is greatly appreciated.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
