Ireland Lights Up: Don't forget that RTÉ are coming to Monaghan Harps this this evening (Thursday) to film our Ireland Lights Up walk. Please support this week in particular; we would love to see a big number of walkers out in force wearing club colours. Sign-in starts at 6.15 in the clubhouse foyer and the walk commences at 6.30pm. Looking forward to seeing a big crowd!

Meeting: The first club meeting of 2023 takes place in the clubhouse this evening (Thursday) at 8pm.

Registration: Thanks to everyone who has renewed their membership for 2023 so far: your continued support is appreciated. Our registrar Kevin Treanor has organised another registration afternoon for this Saturday (12 noon to 1.30pm). It is essential that all players are registered in advance of training commencing. Please avail of this opportunity to register for the year ahead. Míle buíochas.

Seisiún ceoil: We were delighted to welcome Comhaltas Baile Mhuineacháin to our clubhouse on Sunday night for their first monthly session of 2023. These new regular sessions will take place on the final Sunday of each month.

Club Draw: The GAA's National Club Draw is back for 2023, offering great prizes. Please return all tickets to Patrick or Julie as soon as possible.

County: Well done to Kevin Loughran on making his Allianz NFL debut against Armagh last Saturday; good luck to the Monaghan senior footballers as they travel to Kerry this Sunday. We also wish Daragh Croarkin and the county U-20s and Ethan McCaffrey, Jack and Mark Lynch, John McCrystal, Shea Corrigan and the county minors all the best in their upcoming campaigns.

Gavan Duffy Park: We hosted big crowds from St. Macartan's College; St. Patrick's Academy, Dungannon; Patrician High School, Carrickmacross; and Omagh CBS for Ulster Schools GAA MacRory Cup knock-out games over the last two weekends. Thanks to all our club members who helped out.

Every Step Counts: The GAA/Irish Life Every Step Counts challenge has another fortnight to run until the closing date of February 15. We are over halfway towards the combined total of 4,000 km – the equivalent of walking around the coastline of Ireland – to be entered into a draw to win O'Neill's vouchers. To take part, download the My Life app, register your details, tap on the social tab within the app and select your club.

Sympathy: We send sincere sympathy to the family of the late Peter Soraghan, Tully, a former player and officer and a long-time supporter of our club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Pitch development: Our development continues to move along steadily. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to our lotto on a weekly basis, which has made this possible. To develop our pitches, access and look at floodlit facilities for the future, please help our club's growth financially through buying the lotto each week on the ClubZap app or from our many sellers.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
