Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 2, 7, 9 and 12. Our jackpot of €5,300 was won by Marie McCarville! Congratulations to Marie, who becomes our second jackpot winner via the ClubZap subscription since it began in 2020! Jackpot for Sunday, February 12 is €1,000. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

AGM: At last week's monthly meeting, the club committee ratified the filling of some of the roles that were held over from our AGM. It means the following committee is in place for 2023: Chairperson: Peter Coyle: Vice-Chair: Mary White; Secretary: Brenda McConnon; Treasurers: Patrick Cunningham & Julie Brannigan; Assistant Treasurer: Mickey Morgan; Youth Officer: Pádraig Callan; Coaching Officer: Paddy Kelly; Children's Officer: Eimear McKenna; Healthy Club Officer: Úna Forde: PRO: Colm Shalvey; Registrar: Kevin Treanor; County Board Delegate: Jimmy Croarkin; Development Officers: Ciarán Cuddy & Peter Coyle; Cultural Officer: Jackie Reilly. Thanks to our new committee members for taking on these roles and good luck to everyone involved this year.

Ireland Lights Up: A record turnout attended our Ireland Lights Up walk last Thursday to greet the RTÉ cameras as part of their recording for last night's Operation Transformation episode. Thanks so much to everyone who took part on the night and big well done to Úna Forde, Seán McKenna and family and our Healthy Club committee. We continue next Wednesday, back to the usual time of 7.30pm.

Registration: Thanks to everyone who has renewed their membership for 2023 so far: your continued support is appreciated. GRMA to our registrar Kevin Treanor for his efforts. It is essential that all players are registered in advance of training commencing. Please avail of this opportunity to register for the year ahead. Míle buíochas.

Club Draw: The GAA's National Club Draw is back for 2023, offering great prizes. Please return all tickets to Patrick or Julie as soon as possible.

Monaghan GAA New York: The Monaghan GAA New York committee for 2023 includes a strong Harps contingent. Good luck to Gerry McEntee, Musti Gamal Ahmed, Liam McNelis, Reece Treanor and all involved.

Every Step Counts: The GAA/Irish Life Every Step Counts challenge has another week to run until the closing date of February 15. We are over three-quarters of the way towards the combined total of 4,000 km – the equivalent of walking around the coastline of Ireland – to be entered into a draw to win O'Neill's vouchers. To take part, download the My Life app, register your details, tap on the social tab within the app and select your club.

Pitch development: Our development continues to move along steadily. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to our lotto on a weekly basis, which has made this possible. To develop our pitches, access and look at floodlit facilities for the future, please help our club's growth financially through buying the lotto each week on the ClubZap app or from our many sellers.

Sympathy: At last week's monthly meeting, the club passed votes of sympathy to the families of Peter Soraghan, Odhrán Connolly, Bridie McGill and Louis Treanor. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.
