Ireland Lights Up: Monaghan Harps GAA Club are delighted to welcome the return of Ireland Lights Up, a six-week walking programme for all ages. This began last week, but everyone is welcome to attend each Wednesday at 7.30pm. Please come to the foyer and sign in before the walk. We are also taking part in the Irish Life Steps Challenge. To join this, download the Irish Life app, go to the steps challenge, then Ulster GAA and search for Monaghan Harps. Clubs that achieve 4,000 km will go into a draw to win €2,500 for their club. Kickstart a healthy 2024 by joining us for one or both of these activities.
Schools: We wish good luck to all our young players currently representing the club in schools' and third-level competitions.
Club Draw: The GAA's National Club Draw is back for 2024, offering great prizes. This is a valuable fundraiser for the club; all support would be appreciated.
Clothing drive: Our Hurling Club's annual clothing drive began last weekend and continues this Saturday from 11am to 12 noon. If you have any unwanted clothes, please bring them to the clubhouse.
Awards: Congratulations to our Cultural Officer Jackie Reilly and all who represented Monaghan Harps in Scór Competitions as we are winners of the Monaghan GAA Cultúr agus Gaeilge award for 2023. Well done also to Adrian Dalton on being named Juvenile Club Official of the Year and to Calum Sherry of the Harps Handball Club for his Juvenile Handball award.
