Summer camps: Our own in-house summer camp is set to return this year from August 21-25. More details to follow.

IFL: We had a high-scoring win at home to Emyvale in the Intermediate Football League last Saturday. Goals by Michael Galligan and Lochlainn Power helped keep us in touch in a first half that finished level at 2-5 to 1-8. Emyvale went three points up five minutes inro the second half, but a strong finish to the game saw scores from Daragh Croarkin, Dylan McKenna, Luke, Michael, Liam Hahessy and Gary White earn us a 3-15 to 2-11 win. Well done to Mark Clerkin for making his IFL debut.

Team and scorers: Daragh Croarkin (1-2, 1-1f, 0-1 '45); Gary Devlin, Kevin Moran, Oisín Fagan; Nathan Lavery, Aodhán Óg McAnespie (Capt.), David Lowry; Dylan McKenna (0-1), Lochlainn Power (1-0); Shane McMahon, Luke McManus (0-2), Michael McMorrow; Gary White (0-2), Evan Doherty, Michael Galligan (1-7, 1-0 pen, 0-3f).

Subs used: Mark Clerkin; Liam Hahessy (0-1); Shea Swift; Conor Devlin.

Our next game is a play-off away to Toome, which is scheduled for Tuesday week, July 25.

Reserves: We had a hard-earned win at home to Latton in the RFL Division 1A on Tuesday night. Points by Luke McManus, Evan Doherty and Terence McDonald had us on level terms at half-time on a scoreline of 1-3 to 0-6. Luke added 1-1 to his tally during the second half, while Dónal Hahessy also added his name to the scoresheet, before a late goal by Eoin O'Hanlon sealed a 2-8 to 1-6 win. We wish David Lowry a full and speedy recovery from the nasty injury he suffered during this game.

Team and scorers: Dylan McAree; Conor Devlin, Liam Conway, Oisín Fagan; Mark Clerkin, Gary Devlin, David Lowry; Dylan McKenna, Shane McMahon; Dónal Hahessy (0-1), Niall Greenan (Capt.), Terence McDonald (0-1); Luke McManus (1-3, 0-1f), Evan Doherty (0-3, 2f), Eoin O'Hanlon (1-0).

Subs used: Jamie Shields; Liam Hahessy.

We will bid to secure a semi-final place in next Tuesday's game away to Scotstown.

U-17: Our minors have a busy week, starting with their long-awaited Division One opener at home to Scotstown on Sunday at 12 noon. Our Division Four team also host Scotstown on Tuesday evening. Good luck to all involved.

U-15: Our U-15s are through to the Division Two League final after a hard-earned win at home to Rockcorry on Thursday.

U-13: Hard luck to our U-13 Division One team, who lost out to Castleblayney in their Shield Final at Tyholland last Saturday. A competitive first half saw our lads earn plenty of possession, but although Daimhin Brett, Calum McCaffrey and Gabriel Cunningham were on target, we trailed by the narrowest of margins at the break (0-4 to 1-2). A Calum McCaffrey goal and some fine saves by Daniel Treanor helped edge us ahead, but Blayney eventually found their way through for a brace of goals that would prove decisive. Good luck to everyone involved for the rest of the season.
