Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 5, 15, 18 and 29. Jackpot of €1,600 not won. The four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Brenda McConnon c/o Kevin Treanor; Oisín Finlay c/o Joe Finlay (Hurling Club); Karina Carraher c/o ClubZap; and Patrick McCarville c/o Séamus Treanor. Jackpot for Sunday, July 18 is €1,700. The club is asking members willing and financially able to contribute through our lotto towards club maintenance and running expenses. This can be done by two options: set up a standing order to our club lotto via quarterly or annual payments or using our new club app by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone, registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member and buying club lotto in bulk or on a weekly basis. Anyone interested can contact either Rose Donnelly (086 0825782); Maria McKenna (086 1057725) or Adrian Dalton (087 7859582). Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday, while physical tickets should be with the lotto committee by 9pm.

Seniors: We were away to Truagh in round two of the Senior Football League last Saturday. Goals by Conor McCrystal and Michael Galligan helped us move ahead in the first half, with Thomas Croarkin, Dylan McKenna, Shane McMahon and Dean Fanning also on target as our lads led by 2-9 to 2-4 at half-time. Our scores dried up during the third quarter as Truagh closed the gap and although Nathan Lavery and Dean Fanning kicked points to regain a narrow lead, an exciting game finished all-square at 2-12 apiece. Well done to Tiarnán O'Rourke, Nathan Lavery and Terence McDonald for making their first competitive appearances for our senior team. Thanks to our match sponsors, McNally's service station and Kenrow Menswear, for their support.

Team and scorers: Conor Callan; Thomas Croarkin (0-2), Conn O'Hanlon, Kevin Loughran; Nicholas Scott, Aodhán Óg McAnespie (Capt.), Kevin Moran; Neil McAdam, Dylan McKenna (0-1); Dean Doherty, Michael Galligan (1-4, 0-1f), Shane McMahon (0-1); Oisín Fagan; Conor McCrystal (1-0), Dean Fanning (0-3, 2f, 1m).

We were away to Clontibret in Division Three last Sunday, where a disjointed performance saw us end our league campaign with a defeat. Championship is next up for this team.

U-19: Magheracloone conceded last week's U-19 FL Division One game. We host Emyvale next Wednesday at 8pm.

Minors: Our U-17s took on Clontibret in a good contest in the league last Sunday. We started slowly, but points by Eoin O'Hanlon, Luke McManus, Oisín Treanor, Seán Callan and Fionán Ó Gallchóir kept us in touch at 0-8 to 1-8 by half-time. Clontibret added eight points to their tally during an exciting third quarter, but Luke, Fionán, Seán and Eoin responded, with a goal by Fionán helping bring us back from six points down to within two. We kicked on in the final quarter as points by Eoin, Fionán and Cian Bradley saw us over the line on a scoreline of 1-20 to 1-18.

Team and scorers: Oisín Reilly; Mark Clerkin, Jake McConnon, Jordan Crampton; Shane Moran, Gary Devlin (Capt.), Seán Callan (0-2); Senan Cudden, Shea Swift; Cian Bradley (0-1), Luke McManus (0-3, 1f), Oisín Treanor (0-1); Fionán Ó Gallchóir (1-4), Eoin O'Hanlon (0-9, 7f), Josh Kelly.

Subs used: Dáire Conlon, Gregory O'Connell.

U-15: Our U-15 teams both fell short in keenly-contested league games last week: Our Division One away to Castleblayney on Thursday and Division Five in Donaghmoyne on Friday. Our Division One team are back in action this evening (Thursday) at home to Truagh, while the Division Five round-robin stage sees our lads travel to Carrickmacross tomorrow night (Friday).

U-13: Our U-13 Division Two team are away to Carrickmacross this Saturday morning, while the Division Six league continues with a home game against Scotstown on Sunday.

U-11: The Liam Stirrat Development League for U-11s continued last Saturday with home games against Aughnamullen and Truagh. Well done to everyone involved.

County: Well done to Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh and the county U-20s on their Ulster quarter-final win over Derry and good luck in the semi-final against Donegal tomorrow night (Friday). Good luck also to the county senior teams this weekend.

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club. You can get involved by downloading 'ClubZap' on your phone and registering as a Monaghan Harps GAA Club member.

Hurling:

Juveniles: Well done to U-7s and U-9s who travelled to Clontibret for a very well organised blitz. Both teams gave great displays and we look forward to the next blitz in a few weeks' time. Keep an eye on our social media for further updates. Thank you to all of the coaches and parents for making it a great day for our young hurlers & camógs!

Our U-13s travelled to face Latton. The first half was an entertaining affair, but a stronger Latton side pulled away in the second half. We had big performances from Jack Murphy, Tiarnach Connolly and Caolan Cawley. Thank you to all of the coaches for their time & effort.

Seniors: We advanced to the semi-finals of the Mick Hannon DHL despite a final-round loss in Clontibret last Thursday. Our semi-final fixture sees us travel to face Inniskeen this Thursday (July 15). Best of luck to the squad and management!
