Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 10, 11, 17 and 24. Jackpot of €4,000 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Ultan Bannon c/o Rose Donnelly; Lily McCaughey c/o Barry Sullivan; Ríoghnach McAleer c/o Rose Donnelly; and Mike Nolan c/o Barry Sullivan. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Ann Treanor. Jackpot for Sunday, July 7 is €4,100. IFL: We had a hard-earned win at home to Castleblayney in the Intermediate Football League last Friday. After a slow start, goals from Kevin Loughran and Michael Galligan helped us lead by 2-2 to 0-5 at half-time. It remained tight until the end, with points by Gary Devlin and Michael helping us over the line by 2-6 to 0-11. We are away to Emyvale this Saturday at 7pm. All support welcome.

Summer camps: The Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp has returned to Gavan Duffy Park this week, finishing up tomorrow (Friday). Our own in-house summer camp will take place from August 12-16. More details to follow.

 

Last Man Standing: Our senior footballers' fundraising Last Man Standing competition for Euro 2024 is down to the final stages. Thanks to everyone who entered and good luck to the remaining competitors.

IFC: We have been drawn along with Truagh, Carrickmacross, Castleblayney and Emyvale in Group Two of the McElvaney Recycling Intermediate Football Championship, which will begin on the weekend of August 10/11.

 

Minors: The minor league resumed after the exam break on Tuesday with a loss at home to Truagh. The Division One league continues with an away game against Castleblayney next Tuesday, while the Division Five team host Aughnamullen this Saturday.

 

U-16: Our U-16s are awaiting the start of their championship on July 18.

 

U-14: Our U-14 teams get their championship campaigns underway this weekend. First up is the Division 5B opener at home to Inniskeen tomorrow evening (Friday), before the Division One lads take on Scotstown in Kilmore on Sunday at 1pm. Good luck to all involved.

 

U-12: Our U-12 Division Six team host Scotstown on Monday.

 

Hurling Club Raffle Night: The Hurling Club host their annual draw this Saturday night in the clubhouse. There will food, drink and of course the main raffle taking place. There are some fantastic prizes and spot prizes to be drawn on the night. Kick-off is at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

 

Juvenile coaching: Thanks to everyone involved in our Saturday-morning football coaching. Training continues every Saturday at 10am in Gavan Duffy. To register a new or existing player, please log on to the Foireann app or www.foireann.ie.

 

Club app: As well as offering an option to support our lotto, our new club app also has a function to pay your annual membership, make financial donations to the club, as well as a communication suite for all that goes on at the club.
