Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 3, 7, 13 and 14. Jackpot of €2,900 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Sonia Regan c/o Saturday mornings; Amber Quinn c/o ClubZap; Sinéad & Adrian Toal c/o Jimmy Croarkin; and Ursula Tracey c/o Paudge Connolly. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Matt McCaughey. Jackpot for Sunday, July 2 is €3,000. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for our lotto, which plays an integral part for the club and is funding our current development works. Pitch Development Raffle: All sections of Monaghan Harps are joining forces to organising a fundraising raffle for the development of our pitches. There are loads of exciting prizes to be won including: €600 voucher for Galgorm Resort; €300 voucher for Farnham Estate; €200 voucher for MacNean House & Restaurant; €150 voucher for Mono Furniture; Kerstace Haircare Hamper (worth €150); Fourball for Concra Wood Golf Club; Fourball for Rossmore Golf Club. Other prizes include restaurant vouchers, golf lessons, UCAA classes, portrait, google speaker and signed Monaghan jersey from the All-Ireland winning Lory Meagher team.

Registration: Thanks to everyone who has renewed their membership for 2023. We ask all playing members and parents of juveniles to check if they have paid their fees for this season.

 

Summer camps: The Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp returns to Gavan Duffy Park next week. Our own in-house summer camp is set to return this year from August 21-25. More details to follow.

 

IFL: We are away to Cremartin in the Intermediate Football League tomorrow night (Friday). All support welcome!

 

Flag Day: Our annual street collection took place last Friday and Saturday. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who gave their time to collect, to everyone who made a donation and to our juvenile committee for their efforts in co-ordinating this important fundraiser for the club.

 

County: Well done to Adrian, Ethan, Jack, Mark, John, Shea and the Monaghan minor footballers on their win in the All-Ireland MFC semi-final v Kerry. Tickets are now on sale for the final v Derry on Sunday week, July 9. Good luck to Kevin Loughran and the county senior men in Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final v Armagh.

 

Reserves: We had a hard-earned win away to Magheracloone in the RFL Division 1A last Friday. A Luke McManus goal gave us an early lead and with Shane McMahon, Evan Doherty and Gregory O'Connell also on target, we were 1-6 to 0-8 up at half-time. Luke added several scores in the second half to keep us ahead, while Evan, Shane and Eoin O'Hanlon also kicked points to help secure a 1-16 to 1-12 win.

We host Truagh in Division 3B this Sunday, before travelling to Donaghmoyne for an important Division 1A game on Tuesday night.

 

U-17: Our minor Division Four team host Aughnamullen on Tuesday at 7.30pm. The county team's progress to the All-Ireland MFC Final means the Division One start has been postponed.

 

U-15: Our U-15s lost out to Truagh last Thursday and will host Tyholland this evening (Thursday) at 7.30pm.

U-13: Our U-13 Division Five team had a league semi-final away to Magheracloone last night (Wednesday). Check online for result.

 

High-vis jackets: We ask club members to please check if they have any of the high-vis jackets with Monaghan Harps on the back and to please return them to the club. GRMA.

 

Saturday-morning coaching: Our juvenile Gaelic football coaching for 4-9-year-olds continues each Saturday morning from 10-11am. Thanks to everyone involved.
