Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 5, 6, 25 and 28. Jackpot of €3,300 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Geraldine Evans c/o Breege Sweeney; Ann McGuinness c/o Jim Dalton (Hurling Club); Michael O'Brien c/o Marian O'Brien; and Nicholas Treanor c/o Ann Treanor. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Monica Connolly. Jackpot for Sunday, March 16 is €3,400.

Sports predictions competition: Our senior footballers have organised a sports predictions competition where entrants are required to forecast the outcome of a number of sports competitions. Why not test yourself with a prize of €500 up for grabs!
Monaghan Harps Sports Predictions 2025
League start dates: The Intermediate Football League is due to start on Sunday, April 13. The Reserve Football Leagues and U-12 Spring Leagues begin this weekend. The proposed start dates for juvenile/minor leagues are as follows: U-18: April 1; U-16: April 3 & U-14: March 22.
Reserves: Our opening RFL Division 1B game v Corduff has been rescheduled for tonight (Thursday) in Aughnamullen at 8pm. Good luck to Nicholas Scott, Michael McMorrow and all involved.
U-12: Our U-12s enter the Spring Leagues this weekend with all three teams away to Scotstown between Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to everyone involved.
Arch Club: We are hosting Monaghan Arch Club in the clubhouse tonight (Thursday, March 13). We ask club members to please keep this date free if possible.
St. Patrick's Day: We will be taking part in the parade on St. Patrick's Day at 3pm, followed by ceol agus craic in the clubhouse afterwards. Please assemble at the clubhouse for 2.30pm in club gear. Children can be collected after the parade at the clubhouse. If you could bring some sandwiches or goodies for the party afterwards, it would be much appreciated. Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh!
Coach induction evening: We hosted a coach induction evening in the clubhouse last Friday. Thanks to everyone who attended and to our coaching committee and Coaching Officer Dick Clerkin for organising.
Rules workshop: Also last Friday, a great crowd of club coaches and players attended a very informative workshop on Gaelic Football's new rule enhancements. Thanks to Anthony Marron for facilitating the session.
Church-gate collection: Our church-gate collection took place last weekend. Thanks to everyone who supported.
County: Congratulations to the Monaghan U-20 hurlers on their Ulster Development League Final win, especially to the Harps coaches and players involved. Good luck to the county senior footballers in their Allianz NFL game v Meath this Sunday. Well done to Seán Callan on being named as joint-captain of the Monaghan U-20 footballers, who begin their championship campaign on March 26.
DWTS: Ádh mór to Kayleigh Trappe in RTÉ's Dancing with the Stars final. Keep an eye out for a glimpse of the Harps colours on Sunday night!
Club Draw: The GAA's National Club Draw is back for 2025, offering great prizes. This is a valuable fundraiser for the club; all support would be appreciated. Please return all tickets ASAP.
